Anonime Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
Effective Date: June 12, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of Anonime and all related services operated by Leatra Technologies LTD ("Anonime", "we", "our", or "us").
This AUP forms part of and is incorporated into the Anonime Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension, restriction, termination of access, deletion of content, revocation of paid features, or disclosure of operational metadata where required by law.
1. Purpose
Anonime is designed to provide privacy-focused communications, secure storage, temporary sharing, and identity abstraction tools.
Privacy is not immunity from responsibility.
Users remain fully accountable for all actions performed through their accounts, Nyms, Vaults, Drops, Whispers, aliases, and associated services.
2. Compliance With Law
You may not use Anonime to violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, sanctions regime, or legally binding governmental directive.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Fraud
- Identity theft
- Financial scams
- Money laundering
- Terrorist activity
- Human trafficking
- Child exploitation
- Stalking
- Harassment
- Extortion
- Blackmail
- Distribution of illegal content
- Circumvention of lawful restrictions
3. Child Safety
Anonime maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and any activity involving the exploitation, grooming, trafficking, abuse, or endangerment of children.
You may not:
- Create
- Upload
- Store
- Share
- Transmit
- Promote
- Request
- Facilitate access to
any content involving child sexual exploitation.
Confirmed violations may result in:
- Immediate account termination
- Preservation of relevant operational records
- Reporting to appropriate authorities
- Permanent denial of future access
4. Fraud, Deception, and Impersonation
You may not use Anonime to:
- Impersonate another person
- Impersonate a business
- Impersonate a government entity
- Misrepresent your identity
- Conduct phishing campaigns
- Conduct credential harvesting
- Conduct social engineering attacks
- Operate fraudulent investment schemes
- Operate romance scams
- Operate advance-fee scams
- Distribute deceptive communications
The use of a Nym does not authorize fraudulent impersonation.
5. Spam and Communication Abuse
You may not use Anonime to:
- Send unsolicited bulk messages
- Conduct mass-mailing campaigns
- Operate mailing lists without recipient consent
- Transmit spam
- Send commercial solicitations without authorization
- Conduct automated outreach campaigns
- Send malware
- Send malicious attachments
- Send deceptive links
- Evade provider abuse controls
Users must comply with the acceptable use requirements of our upstream communication providers.
6. Malware and Harmful Software
You may not create, store, distribute, transmit, or facilitate:
- Malware
- Viruses
- Worms
- Trojans
- Ransomware
- Spyware
- Keyloggers
- Remote access tools intended for abuse
- Credential theft tools
- Malicious scripts
This prohibition applies whether the software is distributed directly or through links, Drops, Whispers, aliases, or email.
7. Security Abuse
You may not:
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems
- Bypass authentication mechanisms
- Escalate privileges
- Probe infrastructure without permission
- Conduct penetration testing without authorization
- Perform vulnerability scanning against our systems
- Interfere with service availability
- Launch denial-of-service attacks
- Abuse rate limits
- Circumvent feature restrictions
- Reverse engineer security controls
Security research must be conducted only through authorized disclosure channels.
8. Illegal Content
You may not use Anonime to create, store, distribute, or transmit content that is unlawful under applicable law.
Examples include:
- CSAM
- Terrorist propaganda
- Criminal instruction manuals
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Copyright-infringing material where distribution is unlawful
- Content prohibited by binding court order
9. Harassment and Abuse
You may not use Anonime to:
- Harass
- Threaten
- Intimidate
- Doxx
- Blackmail
- Extort
- Target individuals with credible threats of violence
Privacy tools may not be used as instruments of abuse.
10. Intellectual Property
You may not use Anonime to knowingly violate the intellectual property rights of others.
You are solely responsible for ensuring you possess appropriate rights, licenses, permissions, or legal authority to upload, store, distribute, or transmit content through the Service.
11. Platform Integrity
You may not:
- Create excessive accounts for abuse
- Circumvent account suspensions
- Evade enforcement actions
- Artificially consume infrastructure resources
- Manipulate billing systems
- Abuse free-tier allocations
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for gain
12. Privacy and Anonymity Limitations
Anonime provides privacy-enhancing technologies.
However:
- Privacy does not eliminate legal responsibility.
- Encryption does not authorize unlawful conduct.
- Anonymity features do not exempt users from applicable laws.
- Nyms do not provide immunity from enforcement actions.
Users remain responsible for all activity performed through their accounts and identities.
13. Enforcement
Where reasonably necessary, Anonime may:
- Restrict features
- Suspend accounts
- Terminate accounts
- Revoke subscriptions
- Disable content
- Preserve operational metadata
- Cooperate with lawful investigations
- Take technical actions required to protect infrastructure and users
Enforcement decisions may occur without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary.
14. No Obligation to Monitor
Because Anonime utilizes privacy-preserving and encrypted technologies, we are generally not obligated to proactively monitor user content.
However, we may investigate:
- Abuse reports
- Security incidents
- Fraud indicators
- Legal requests
- Operational anomalies
where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.
15. Reporting Abuse
Suspected abuse may be reported to:

16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated through the Service and will become effective on the date specified in the notice.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
